Major problem installing Daystar spacer lift

I sprayed it liberally, let it set for about 5 mins, put on the puller and just lightly snugged it and 3 or 4 hits on the spindle with the hammer and POP! It came right apart. awesome...you dont even want to ask me about my lower strut mount bolt issue!!!!!....trust me you got lucky with your early problem...i had to drill out my bolt after a couple days of hammering because it was seized...
i put jb weld anti seize on all bolts now ......

glad it worked out good for ya!!!

I was told that applying PB blaster before beginning the installation of the lift will help with the stubborn bolts...

Thanks for the pics!!! Now I know exactly what my Salsa 08 SE 4x4 will look like with the 2.5/1.5 and Revos. This is the setup I plan to go with as soon as the Dunflops wearout. Sorry it was such a PITA. I know if I had crushed that Balljoint end the whole neighborhood would have heard me swearing!!!!! :cursin:

NCSCOTT I am very happy with how it turned out! The ride is great and the tires are uncomparable to the Dunflops, they are THAT MUCH BETTER. I still had around 10k left in my Dunflops but I got the itch for the Revo's and I am thrilled with them. Next on my list is wheel spacers, color matched limited grill and Xenon Depot 4300K Phillips HID's. Oh yeah and some WeatherTech Liners. Just gotta get approval from the wifey!

I am at about that same point right now with about 9k left on the Dunflops. ( I won't let them go past 30k) With Discount Tire dropping the price to $145 each due to the release of the REVO-2s, I am itching to pull the trigger. Unforunately we just had our 3rd child, (6 week old Girl, another redhead!!!) and my wife is off work for another 6 weeks. I just have to wait a little while longer!!!!:dammit: I don't do well at the waiting game!!!! I understand the Wifey approval thing.:) The all weather floor mats are great, no matter what brand you get, they sure save the carpet!!!
 
yeah we had 28k on the dunflops and with getting the tires for $139 a piece at tirerack.com PLUS my wifes cousin installed the tires free! I couldnt pass it up. The lift was just a bonus....wifey said yes and I didn't hesitate! (the 4R is her DD)
 
Oh yeah congrats on the baby! I have a feeling my time will be in the next year or two for babies, but we aren't there just yet...
