Silentyoda... the simple answer (for me) is that your allways turning your CV's under load with ADD. Manual hubs eliminate this. They are only under load when you lock the hubs in. If I remember correctly, when I did mine I pulled the vacuum hoses off and plugged them (just to keep crud out) I also remember reading that with auto hubs you have to get an additional spacer but with ADD hubs you just remove and bolt the manuals on.
