Marker light issues I think...

Do the orange marker lights stay on during the day? Mine do. When I cut my headlights on the orange marker lights up front turn off. Is that how it is suppose to work?

Also does your fan speed slector knob suppose to have a light behind it? I turned on my headlights tonight and the fan switch does not light up

Yes for the orange marker lights; that's how they're supposed to work. They are DRLs: Daytime Running Lights. The fan switch should light up. Just a burnt bulb or bad connection for it. There are several bulbs on the back of that control unit. Easy fix but the bulb might be expensive from the dealer (expensive for it's size!).

Thanks..but isnt there suppose to be some orange marker lights on up front when the headlights are on?

I'm guessing you have a 2003-2005. The front marker lights are in the headlight housing. The DRLs are only directionals when headlights are on. Hope that helps.

The fan switch/knob lights up for the different speeds and off labels. There is a little orange triangle indicator for the selected fan speed when the fan is on. The 'Off' position indicator is not lit when the fan is off.

A member here (possibly ric, IIRC) added a LED to the 'Off' position and the orange triangle indicator lights up on 'Off'.
