Masson74 - My Rig

Put in my new used glove box today I picked up off of the forums for 35 bucks. It would have been $325 from the stealership. The other one was destroyed by the local locksmith when my locked got jammed up.
 
Today I washed the 4runner, then I used Cleaner Wax to take out the california pinstripes from off roading then buffed it out, then applied regular wax, then buffed it all out. Looks good as new!!! A little love can go a long way to making your rig look nice. To make my life easier i hired the neighbor kid who is 16 who just got his license and is saving for a car. He made $20 bucks for the hour and I can still move my arms tonight. The best $20 I have spent all year.

I sure am enjoying the new Weathertech floor mats. I would highly reccommend them to anyone. So much easier to keep everything clean.

Well I just dropped a WAD-O-CASH!!!

Icon 2.5's with extended travel and remotes upfront with dial in compression adjusters!!!

Icon 2.5 rears with remote reservoirs. I am having them remove the piggy back and going remote to stay away from the control arms.

Light Racing UCA's

Everything should be ready to mount up in two to three weeks!!! I have a friend of a friend at ICON and they are setting me up with a sweet ride for sure.

Looking forward to a smooth buttery ride on and off-road.
 
Congrats on the purchase. It feels good doesn't it. Thats one thing that I may upgrade to in the future is thew remote resis.

Let us know how you like them.
 
Put on the junkyard bumps and added rear wheel spacers today to get ready for my new Icon 2.5 remote resevoirs that should be here next week.

I was looking into shocks for my 4r, How do you like the Icons? I am at a toss up right now, king, fox, icon, and a few others.
 
Took her out to the desert for a quick spin the other day. These CDC valved remote reservoir ICON's are amazing! It just sucks up whatever you throw at them. I couldn't be happier.

I was out in Palm Springs at a condo with the inlaws and just ran a quick sand road,one hour run, so no flexing yet. Also it was 110 degrees outside so I didnt want to get to far from any main roads. Just too bloomin hot.

The reason I havent rung her out yet is that I am recovering from knee surgery and have had to take it easy for the last month.

Took her out about a mile away from my house and had a little fun after a thunderstorm. Got her a little muddy and had fun going up and down some terraces.

Did an easy but beautiful run up Clarkes Grade to Big Bear, CA. today with my son and some friends from church. We visited Bluff Lake, the Champion Lodge Pole Pine, Grand View lookout, and went to ride the Alpine Slides. It was a great day.

Ive been looking into the icon coilovers latey and have never heard of the "CDC valve" mentioned in your signature. Whats that about?

I call it "dial a ride". The remote reservoir has a dial on it that lets you dial in how soft or hard you want the shock to be valved. For instance on the Freeway I run a 6 upfront and a 5 in the rear. For off-road you can go all the way to S for soft which is a 1. Its an awesome feature for sure.
