Added some rear control arm skids today

Hit a few fire roads with a buddy of mine today near Angelus Oaks, CA. It was so nice to get out of the office for the afternoon and get a view from Gods office!

I am still running Savage OffRoad skids. I just replaced my original ones with the updated ones that cover a little bit more. Roy the owner of Savage is one of my best friends and we live in the same town.

Well my build on my rig will have to slow down a bit as I just bought a new to me used car for work today. A 2008 Lexus ES350 with 58,000 miles in pristine condition one owner with every option! One of my clients inherited it from her Dad and decided to sell it instead of keeping it. One owner always garaged and always serviced at Lexus. It was too good of a deal to pass up. Not quite the Infiniti Q50 I had been saving up for but the practical and cheap side of me gave in and bought it. It is kind of a grandma car but it is like driving your Lazy Boy easy chair down the freeway. SOOOOOO comfortable and quiet.

Don't worry I will keep running the 4runner on the weekends and evenings when I get home from work.....and of course for 4x4ing.

I saw some cool old FJ's at the car show last night. The blue one took my friend 10 years to complete. Frame up rebuild. The red one had a vortec 6.0 liter motor in it. Cool stuff

Went wheeling with some friends on Saturday. Up Clarks Grade then through Big Bear and up and over White Mountain trail. Good times. It had been way too long since I had been wheelin'

I went fishing today at the dam. Wheelin' combined with fishing. Hard to beat. When I got home I smoked the 12 inch rainbow. He was tasty.
