Trying to price my 2011 to sell it. 37k miles. SR5 w/leather, seat heaters, sunroof, custom stereo (infinity reference doors/tweeters, digital alpine amp/downfiring 10" sub), Bilstein 5100 adjustables with 33" BFG A/T's. Custom Satoshi grill mod, tow package. Has very minor scratches as you would expect from 37k miles. No dings/dents/accidents. Tint and clearbra.

KBB is 31k. What do you think I should take for it?

Thanks guys,
Greg

I bought my 2010 SR5 (v6, no nav or leather) with 34kmi with a toyota extended warranty for $27k this week. I saw a lot of 2010s/2011s listing in the $28-32k range with under 50,000 miles all at dealers, most toyota CPO. More for Trail Editions and Limiteds, obviously.

With the work you have into yours, you could probably ask on the higher end of the spectrum, say $30k. I'm assuming you still have some of the original 3y/36k warranty left? That should transfer to a new owner, and they could also add on an extended warranty on their own if they wanted before they hit the 36k mark.

I think your biggest obstacles are marketing to someone with that kind of cash or credit, and getting someone ready to buy that's not looking to trade a vehicle in to a dealer. I think a lot of people in the >$10k ballpark typically have something to trade (often with some $$ owed on it) and go to a dealer because they don't have to deal with selling their own car or the hassle of shopping for loans on their own. If you still owe money on yours that creates another hiccup of a buyer 1)paying you 2)you paying the bank 3)you attaining the lein release then 4)you turning the vehicle over to the owner with the title and lein release. With the right buyer, this is all no problem, but the average joe consumer wants everything right now. As with any modified vehicle your audience/market is narrow, but as my grandfather always said "every ass has a seat!"

I know you didn't ask for all that, and I'm not trying to be "that guy" I'm just offering my $.02 as a buyer and as someone who has worked in multiple dealers. A private sale is always a challenge when the price is high.

Good luck!

I'm not an expert but the real question should be can you find someone who will appreciate the mods? The mods will only decrease from what someone's willing to pay you (most people would never touch a modified car) unless you find someone who respects them from what I've heard.

Smart grandfather.

2011 T4R, what's it worth.

My dealer tried to move me up to a 2014 Limited. Presently own 2011 SR5 4X4 with premium package. They offered me $28,775. I was not in the market for a new vehicle, so I turned it down. They were also going to take $2900 off the sticker of the 2014 Limited. I noticed when I was there for service that there were 7 sales people on the floor and not one shopper. I think they are not moving too many vehicles at the present time, at least not in my area.

would you be willing to sell your grill and put back the stock one?

I'd be interested. How much are you talking?

Thinking I'll list it at 30 and if I get an offer in the 28,500 and above range that it'll work.

It's not heavily modded by any means. It has different shocks on it and bigger tires, and that's about it from a mechanical standpoint.

Thanks for the replies guys.
