There is just not a good candidate to vote for these days....
There wasn't last time around, either, or the time before that!
I'm a young person, so I can't speak in great lengths like Jeff and Falls (sorry to call you out, old dudes) about the state of American politics. I don't like the government messing with my business, so I tend to sway Republican.
But this last administration spent spent spent, and even though it may have been necessary, invaded the privacy of American citizens. Bush's reign was one of radicalism and ass kisisng. But, at least those who contributed to his election fund got paid, huge.
And I agree with Falls, the Democrats don't have much to offer. They talk of change, but are things really that bad? I have a 4runner, and will watch the Twins tonight on a 40" HDTV, right after I have one of many high quality choices for dinner in my affordable yet nice air conditioned single family home. And all this was made possible by the state and federal governments that provided grants and affordable loans for me, a poor kid, to go to college.
My dad, who is older than both Jeff and Falls, claims the only presidents that saved him any money and gave him a feeling of increasing prosperity, were Clinton and Reagen.
Sheesh, I may not even vote this year, and how sad is that, when a young man loses all faith in our politicians lobbying for the highest position of leadership in the world simply because they can't run by standard party lines, or (gasp!) run under a new third party this country is craving!
