i had not thought of that... i am going to think about that, i was thinking just black on the bottom of the doors but that could be cool.

i have not posted much for a while so here is what i have been doing, i am going to try and start this out slow... :roadkill:
put on a 2" spacer in the back

then i got some friends together and we went to a place called 5 mile, here we are at the start of the trail.

ya i live around downtown salt lack city, sounds fun, but i am thinking i will get bigger tires before i take it wheeling again, my tires are shit. that might be one of the next things done on my invisible list of things to do to my 4Runner.

should i get 35" tires? a friend of mine is selling his almost new 35s with ok rims for $500

Those are not $500 tires. After you factor in the cost of the extra lift and regearing the diffs, those will be $3000 tires. Which is not to say you shouldn't buy them, just be ready for everything that comes with them.

I'd consider selling you my 33" KM2s though, what tires is your buddy selling?

I do not think that you will be able to fit 35's without some serious modding on the suspension... i mean even with 33s on mine i still rub a ton...

i was thinking about that and was scared :baby: that i might brake something with the bigger tires. thanks for your thoughts, i think i will pass on these $3000 tires.

and soon i am going to bust out the welder and well you will just need to see.

i have been pondering imp: my ideas and thinking about how i want to do it and then it got cold and i did not want to weld in the cold and snow so i have been putting it off until spring, but maybe not soon but in a bit when it get a little warmer i will be busting out the welder and then things so many things :wow:

good to know, i think i will be looking for 33" tires now, i was thinking i would need to do some modding but i think you are correct, more then i was thinking would be needed with the smaller lift that i have compared to yours. and then i will just need to hop ray: it does not rub to much on mine.

i forgot what his tires are off the top of my head, i will ask him next time i see him.
How much are you asking for your tires? and and do the rims come with them? or will i need to get them remounted on mine? and if that is the case what rim size do they take?

the tires are not new they have about 70% more life on them.
how much are you asking for your tires? and what condition are yours in? if you end up selling them

They're probably 70-80%, even tread with a little chunking. With the wheels I'd probably want to get around $500 for them, but at that price I could throw in a usable spare and an extra set of matching wheels.

i ended up just getting some new tires sorry kidvermicious that i did not buy yours, i got 33" nitto all terrain grapplers.

i had to cut the skirt a little so it would not rub and ended up taking my mud flaps off, and a little hammering the body, to push it away from the tires and some spacers on the front wheels to get them to hot rub on the upper control arm

then went to little moab and tested the new tires, grips much better then my old freeway tires :tea:

You suck for not calling me when you went to little moab! I totally woulda gone out there with ya... i may be going out wheeling somewhere either friday or saturday though... LMK if you are up for it.. not positive yet i am going... but yeah i had the same issue with tires on my runner... However... now i hope you hammered out the front and rear fenders because you will rub on the outside of the tire when you are stuffing the tire up and in the wells

it was a last minute trip, but ya i did some hammering and took my mudflaps off but from that test run i can tell i will need a bit more hammering.
i might go to 5 mile on Sunday, depending on the weather and i still don't know if i will go but just something that might happen
