Got an email today from Metal Tech, for those limited owners looking for rock sliders here you go!!!

My email to them:
Hi, I was wondering if you have a rock slider model that can be fitted to a 2013 4runner Limited Edition with XREAS suspension without having to cut or remove the rocker panels. Thanks for your help!!! Best regards,

Metal Tech response:
Yes we do, they are not up on the website yet but we do offer the OPOR slider for the LE edition. Give us a call when you're ready to place your order.

Don't know if these are new, but good news nonetheless!!!:thumb:

Do it by the end of the month. Call them and place the order and take advantage of their discount that ends this months. I saved a hundred bucks. My sliders came two days ago. I have a LE also.

Not installed yet. its a typical dark gray limited. No, no pics. I general don't take too many pictures especially of my cars. I am not sure if I will ever get to installing it any time soon.
 
I've had mine on my SR5 since mid May. I love the look and quality. Plus being able to keep the rockers intact was a plus IMO.

Got pone side done today with my wife's help. To me, they seem to help a lot. My wife and kids were happy with it. My only concern is that the whole thing is held to the frame with only two 5/16" bolts. ONly two:jaw:
 
installed my OPOR sliders after i sanded them down, used acetone to clean up the metal and sprayed Duplicolors bed liner spray.

I see you went with the full dimple die. I was wondering how that would look. I just went with the dimple die in the bump out and the middle of the forward section. Looks good.

WELL i had asked for it the way you said, in the back and just a piece up front, but they must have misunderstood me. :dammit: but it's fine, i like both anyways.

Ahh bummer, man. I know the feeling but when you wait so long and it doesn't ruin the intentions of the part, you still just want to get it on there.
 
Can't wait to have mine delivered tomorrow. Ordered Sun night, shipped out yesterday. Can't ask for much more than that!
 
I've had mine on for a couple months now, and this past weekend I used them as a hi-lift point. the mounting plate separated from the frame rail under the weight on the truck, it was a little disconcerting to say the least.
I will be having a welder friend fab up a bracket to brace the mounting plate around the bottom of the frame rail, and may consider welding the slider to the frame itself.
