I have been up to Copper Harbor for some MTB a few times and was looking into exploring more of the area. I will make my way over to High Rock this summer..

Just found this thread, so I got beat to it...but +1 for High Rock. Before you start too far off of 41, Horseshoe Harbor is a cool little hike for the kids to check out some rock formations along the beach.

If you finish at high rock, go down around 28 to the Jam Pot and Jacob's Creek Falls...great time climbing up through the falls.

I've heard good things about Wild Cat Canyon north of Ishpeming on the Dead River Basin...but never explored there before I left.

I love that area...hoping to be back in Marquette before too long.
