Yes auxiliary cooler unfortunately one of the Piaa lights on the bumper is kinda blocking flow (I think). The cooler is regrettably the 70268 turning out to be overwhelmed with lift tires roof rack and a heavy right foot

Well... you could go the JDM route

OR... Alternatively sell off the oil cooler you have and go for a new one with a higher rating.

Very nice, I love the bike, but sadly it is the roommates. This last winter though we deleted the intake baffle, cat, exhaust valve solenoid, made a 3 to 1 collector and tuned it. Now it is NASTY!

I am torn between finding a daytona like his or the new Ducati Scrambler Enduro. They both are awesome, but there is just something about that Ducati that keeps me coming back to it. I have a year before I graduate so I have a while to decide yet.

I love Ducati's as well. I wanted a Monster for years. They're just so expensive. And after reading hundreds of reviews I was set on the triumph for it all-around performance. But I still think Ducati makes the best looking AND sounding bikes in the world

Edit: I like the vintage style of the Scrambler, and the fact that you can take it off road. But in terms of performance on road the Daytona would murder it. Would be no comparison between those two bikes.

Edit again: You should look into Street Triples. My Triple is a hooligan machine that loves to be thrashed around. Ive jumped it over railroad tracks (and a few hills at very high speeds) on many occasions. Its a naked sport bike, so you sit more upright, it has dirtbike style handlebars, and more room for your knees.

Hmmm... I will have to take a closer look at the triple I guess, I knew going into it that the daytona and scrambler were in two different ballparks, but I am really torn between the two. Like you said the scrambler is neat since it is an enduro style bike with ducatti flare and retro air cooled awesomeness, but the dayton is the kinda kick in the britches get up and go bike. Frankly for my first "real" bike the ducatti would probably be a safer choice, but I would have to learn faster on the daytona and it would be fun. Fortunately/unfortunately they are similar in price with the daytona being 5-8k for a nice one and the scrambler coming in at right around 10k after title and licensing.

Yep, got my 2 motorcycles de-winterized ('77 Yamaha XS500 that I've owned since I was 15 and restored with my brother, and my new fun bike, a 1998 Suzuki Bandit 1200S)

Photo from when I brought the Bandit home from Evansville. A total steal at $2100, turn key bike with good tires, I've only had to do an oil change so far and enjoy it!

I got a new job in the Chicagoland area! Who's from the burbs?

I have a week between quitting this job and starting my new job, so I ordered OME 890, Tundra TRD coils and some bilstein 5100's. Gonna install it during my funemployment week (13th - 17th).

I also bought steering rack bushings and some rear diff drain plugs, since mine will likely be disintegrated when I torch them out.

Bought a house today with a 2 stall garage! Now that I have a place to work on the 4runner I'm so broke I can't afford to do anything! I'll probably leave the 4runner alone for a bit so I can "mod" the house and come back to the beast later. Woohoo! I'm a bonified taxpayer!

Where are you at in IA?

Cedar Rapids. I know of a few others here in iowa but only met and worked on one Yotatech member's 4runner. I did meet Ryan when he dropped off my skidplate too.

Today at work we completely tore down a co-worker's Tundra for a new paint job. We had it all stripped and ready in about 2 hours, man I love how easy it is working on Toyotas! It's getting a refresh since the toyota single stage white was heavily oxidized. Just going white again but with base and clear this time, de-badging, blacking out certain accents, tinting the tail lights, leveling kit, New wheels and tires, and probably exhaust since the muffler was full of holes. Fun times!

I'll still be around, just won't have anything to show off. Maybe I'll finally get around to making a build thread.

Been tempted to do that myself, just buy land and an Airstream or something. Haha. I'm not going anywhere, I still visit other forums a lot that I don't do projects with anymore. I'd still like to meet up sometime too, Platteville isn't too far away and it's a beautiful drive.
