Mileage..what are you guys getting?

I have about 600 miles on my SR5 (4x4)...when I use the 4runner to drive back and forth from work (mainly freeway) I am getting about 21 mpg combined.

what about you guys?

16.8 consistently (w/TRD CAI)......don't think it's helping at all. I drive moderately (some times heavy, some times light foot). :bash:

****ty mileage IMO.
 
TOYSTRY, any change in wheels and/or tires on your ride? That mileage is crappie... My 2007 Pathfinder was similar, 16 MPG no matter how I drove, that's why I am so surprised with the 4R.
 
Since I changed to pure gas (no ethanol) my mileage has gone up to 19 City and 23 highway (21 combined). I am very happy with those numbers.

Nope.....stock with exception of TRD CAI.
 
I've barely been able to break 15MPG on my two week old TE. i dunno what the hell the problem is, i drive conservatively, mostly city, but why am I so far off of everyone else on here???

one thing that concerns me, I've noticed on several occasions when driving down a gentle slope my t4R loses speed without me touching anything..... doesn't seem right on an incline at less than 30MPH....

Your mileage may be the result of the fact that it is just 2 weeks old. My mileage went up right after the truck hit 1000 miles. Also, I try to have the ECO light on most times
 
TE mileage

my TE is just about a month old and has 3 tankfulls at 1200mi I averaged 18.54, 17.97 and 21.99 (hand calculated) respectively with a combination of city and hwy driving
 
Calculated MPG

Highway: 23.9 MPG driving speed limit - no passengers or trailer. No headwind. Deduct 1.5 MPG with moderate head to quartering headwind.

Highway: 19.9 MPG driving speed limit or slightly above - 1 passenger, 2 dogs and 200 # luggage in rear, light to moderate headwinds.

Highway: 12.9 pulling a 2,500# boat, motor and trailer.
City: Avg 16.9 MPG - No passengers or trailer - moderate stop & go traffic

Note: Stock tires. Data read from on board computer.

We've covered about 2400 miles so far, with well over half of those pulling a car on a trailer. Average mileage so far is 15.7 MPG. We were getting around 19 around town before our first tow, and haven't driven the thing much when it wasn't pulling a load.

Don't do any hwy driving where i get above 45-50 since I live in DC and I'm always driving during rush hour so no idea on my hwy miles.

I do my best to drive in Eco from time to time but the stop and go traffic probably has a lot to do with it as I'm constantly having to accelerate/decelerate.

As for the 16.8 (that's what the dash console reading shows). I've yet to actually fill up, reset odometer and drive till it's on fumes so who knows if that is right or not.
