When you have to sell your 1st born, you can always blame me for it.
This is true! He's a good kid. Someone will enjoy him.

Sweet dude! I learned how to drive in a '76 f150 Ranger super cab longbox camper special with a big ugly moldy fiberglass canopy. My old man gave it away several years ago, and I still berate him occasionally. It was in awful shape, but would've been a nice patina'd beater to roll around in if a guy put a couple grand into it. You going to do a build on this truck in any of the F-series forums?
I think I do have one started on a ford truck forum but I haven't been on in awhile. I plan to fully polish the center caps, powdercoat the steelies a cream color and throw new tires on. It really needs some tlc on the interior and motor but I'll take time on it. It has the straight 6 and it's a champ of a motor. I'm unsure how many times the odometer has rolled over but I'm sure it's been quite a few times. It's definitely a driver.
Well efffff... Ordered a Gobi rack. :flame:
Nice, nothing wrong with a long-term slow build to keep a guy occupied. I've got a '98 Ram that I've had since highschool and that my family had since new. Been tossing a little time and cash at it here and there over the last 15 years or so. It's worth more to me than I'd get out of it in resale, so it's been a great truck to practice advanced skills on (bodywork, sheetmetal welding, etc.) It's far from done, and I doubt it ever really will be. I plan on keeping it and having fun with it for a very long time.
Anyway, the 4Runner is looking good too! Keep us posted every so often on the '76 as well - I always enjoy seeing what else everyone on the forum has up their sleeve when they're not 4running, so to speak.
Somehow I don't see you being too upset with your decision, nor did it take long, didn't quite make it to summerlol. I finally came across this build thread, wife and I love going hiking up there by the Big Four Ice Caves and Lake Twenty Two. Great adventures, I'll keep an eye out for your 4Runner.

So do these just fit over the factory emblems ??
How much is it gonna cost to get those painted?
