There are already a few threads on this site about this trip but I'd like to make this thread to at least get a good roll call of 3rd Gen (+ other) T4Rs who are going and also reserve some space for pictures. If you are on T4R (3rd gen or other) and see this thread please confirm if you are going. I'm hoping there is a good sized T4R group that wants to go on a few runs together. I will be arriving Wed @ midnight-ish and leaving Sunday morning.

Sweet thank you for making this tread. There are a few other guys going but I do to know if they are members on here. Should have a plethora of pics and some vids to post
 
I will be there although I'm not exactly sure what days. I've been there recently and run Seven mile, Kane's Creek, Hell's revenge(skipped bonus lines)and Fins n things. I'll run any of it again except Kane's..way to many scratches in the paint for me for what it was. Although it was fun and I'm glad I did it, obstacle wise I want more bang for buck. I'm looking to run

Cliff hanger
Trifecta
Moab rim
 
I want to go SO bad! I cant get any days off so I might have to leave friday after work and get there around 9ish friday night.

Are you guys going with the Tacoma guys or are yall just making your own group? If yall are going with the Tacoma boys do we need to sign up anywhere? Do you guys think I would be good with no sliders? I wont have them back on by then.

Good trail choices! I agree with Kane Creek; I'm glad I ran it, but it scratches the hell out of your rig (especially running it at 2am). Also, Gold bar rim is part of the Trifecta; it's a long day, but fun and a Moab must. Moab Rim had me freaked out at first, but after running it I now think it's one of my favorites. As for Cliffhanger, I'm glad I ran it but it has a serious pucker factor.

I really wish I could swing a second trip out there to meet up with you guys!
 
I can't comment on the sliders other than to say they would be good to have.

We are going with the TW group. This is a TW event but I'm trying to get a headcount for who from T4R is going.

I registered on their page but I think at this point they've stopped counting. I'm betting there will be more than 50 trucks.

My friend that has been spotting me said Moab rim might be too much right now but I'm learning fast. Trifecta and cliffhanger should be fine, hope he's right. Any chance you can make the trip after all? Remember where I am at, that's durango. I can be over in buena vista just as fast as I can be in Moab and I'm ready to roll.

They are helpful but as long a you take it easy and don't play the hero then you should be good. I mean they are great reassurance but you can definitely go and have a good time either way.

There isn't a sign up technically you just show up at the coordinates to BFE antime betwen May 24th to June 1st and people will be there

You'll be fine bud. It takes time and knowing your rig. I made stuff I didn't think I would make last year and it surprises you sometimes. Your rig looks about as capable as mine (if not more).
 
I will be there with a different group but hope to hook up with with the group for a trail or 2 on Friday. Hope they don't mind if my brother in an XJ joins me.

Trifecta is great, BUT from what I've both heard and experienced, its a runner killer!! I've heard quite a few runners blowing rear ends on Golden Spike just before it turns to Gold Bar Rim. I've ran it in a jeep and runner and will do it again. There tends to be a lot of bumping over obsticals especially for mild built rigs.
