Moab suggestions?

Gemini Bridges, Long Canyon, and Shafer Switchbacks are all low-technical high-scenery trails. Grab a copy of Guide To Moab Four Wheel Drive Trails by Charlie Wells, you can find it in almost any of the tourist traps along the main drag, it'll have lots more suggestions.

How much time have you got?
I would recommend taking Kane Creed Blvd and follow it to Hurrah Pass. From town, turn at the McDonalds and bear left a little way up the road where it forks.
If you like that area, you can go down the road on the other side of the river. As you are leaving town to the north, make a left on 279, which is right after a large construction project and before Arches National Park. Lots of petroglyphs here. You can take it all the way to the end of the White Rim Trail, and do some of that.
Arches National Park shouldn't be missed.
Also on the north side of town, HWY 128 which leads to Castle Valley and is a very scenic drive.
From the middle of town, take 300S East (Phillips 66 gas station) to S400 where it makes a T intersection, turn right (south), then make 2nd left on Mill Creek. Stay to the left where it forks and becomes Sand Flats Rd. You might have to pay a couple bucks to enter, depending on time of day, but it's worth it. You will drive through the slickrock area and see the entrances to some pretty well known trails (none are suitable for a stock pickup). The road eventually gains a good bit of elevation and dead ends with the La Sal Mountain Loop Road. I would recommend going left. Nice Alpine mountain road. When it dead ends, make a left which will take you to Castle Valley, then make another left on HWY128, which will take you along the Colorado River back to town.
All of these routes are paved or improved dirt roads which shouldn't be a problem for any 2wd vehicle with a little bit of clearance. The clearance would only really be needed with a couple of water crossings on Kane Creek. Everything else you can do in a civic.

I wouldn't recommend that one in a company truck, unless you walk the last mile or so.

I do some pretty extreme offroading every day, i work on cell sit equipment so i get to go to some pretty cool places, i just want some good photo ops, i should have most of sunday, monday morning i will be at work in the towm. Moab should have lte by the end of the year. I will post som pics monday. Thank you all.

We did two days in Moab in October 2012 on a road trip to Monument Valley. We stayed in a hotel. Arches National Park is at the north end of town and provides a nice drive and lots of photo ops. Depending on your time, there is also Canyonlands National Park and Natural Bridges Monument all wonderfull places to tour and photograph without needing to leave the road, except for a short hike in to advantage points. Beware of the local Pizza place in Moab. It was terrible!! Otherwise, the city and shops are friendly and we enjoyed our visit. We plan to return next Spring. Have a safe drive and enjoy the sights. If you are coming from St George and have the time I suggest you take the scenic route to Moab. Through Zions National Park, up highway 89 to highway 12 past Bryce National Park, stay on 12 to highway 24 then through Capitol Reef and up 24 to I70 then down highway 191 to Moab.
May take most of the day with stopping but well worth it. A few places to stop for short hikes are hole in the rock road just outside of Escalante for Spooky and Peekaboo gulches. Also Goblin Valley State Park.

Paradox is ok, nothing write home about. When I'm in the mood for more than a burger I go to Blue Pig or Moab Brewery.

What kind of circuits are we talking, and how many sites?
I think I have LTE right in town and a couple of miles to the north and south of town, but no LTE or CDMA anywhere east or west of town. Not blazing speed either, I think they are on a couple of bonded T1s.

I guarantee they are, two or three T1s tops. I work with the local telco down there all the time, and all any of the cell carriers have going to their towers in all of Grand and San Juan counties are T1, at least right now.
From what the OP is saying, it sounds there's probably going to be some fiber going in. That'll be nice.

Yes, that's the place. The owner and the staff were nice, but the pizza we had, didn't cut it. I guess if you want pizza in Moab, you have to go to Paradox Pizza. As I recall, it wasn't pipping hot, the crust was too thick and the toppings were not cooked. We may have just caught them on a bad night. In any case, that's our experience with pizza in Moab.

Onion Creek is very scenic and fun if it's not raining. Easy. But Hurrah Pass is a must for sunset. Bring dinner with you.

We did monitor and Merrimack a few weeks back including a visit to Tusher Tunnel and it was awesome and reasonably tame. I am seeing that the sand trails are changing with the dramatic rise in Razor type vehicles. Lots of berms and tight turns and narrow trails and some idiots that don't have the brain cells to realize these trails are not one way. A full size truck will be challenged to get around almost all of moab.
