MOD theft?

The other night I had some drinks and decided to take a cab home(i don't want to turn this into a drinking and driving debate) and I left my truck in a very sketchy parking lot downtown... (This happened the same day I went in to a 4x4 shop and saw how much the ridged light bars cost, wow!)

On my long list of Mods is a gobi and maybe if I sell one of my kidneys I'll be able to get the ladder and one, maybe two ridge lights mounted on top.

Back to my question... Are there any MODs that make you worry about increased theft when you leave your car alone?

I know the easy answer is: if they want it they will get it... I was just curious... Obviously for the LED light bars you can use hex bolts loctight, maybe a weld bead on?

friend of mine had his aux lights snipped and stolen off the bull bar of his truck.

nothing really you can do.

I reeeealy worry about my Rigid bar on my tundra getting ganked. It's the risk we take for building awesome trucks tho!

They make a security nut, but I'm sure any thief will have his/her way around it. I just say if you know your'e going to leave your car somewhere sketchy, call a cab or have someone come get you in the first place.

I've got the Gobi Security nuts and hex nuts on my SR40. This will only buy a bit of time but it gives me a little piece of mind. Most thieves will get what they want eventually.

I have an male inflateable sex doll that I dress up in assless chaps and a leather vest and cowboy hat. I've put red LED lights in the eyeball sockets that I setup in the driver's seat.

If that doesn't scare away your average homophobic thug, then I don't know what will.

There is so much detail here... almost too much detail... this is a safe place, go ahead and post a pic of your love-slave/car theft provention doll.

Here's mine....

No one will take anything if you install this:

I second the request for purchase details. I can use that to drive in the HOV lane and no longer have to risk popping my blow up doll from heat building up in the cabin. That and not having to ride next to someone/thing who looks like this all the time... :-O

This is exactly why I got a way newer and better stereo after my truck was broken in; It was under insurance policy.
