i haven't tried that. do you mean the rear tailgate window or rear passenger? rear passenger down about 8" def helps wind coming from driver side front window, but i'm not sure i've messed with lowering windows or tailgate window in conjunction with sunroof wind. i'll try it.

Rear tailgate window. I always lower mine about 1-2” to negate buffeting in the cabin and have a smoother flow through. I did it on my 2001 4Runner I had for years prior to my 2018. It helps. Glad to hear that it doesn’t make noise above 40mph. We are talking about the moonroof completely open? I would like to fit a RTT that would be up to 56” wide. Do you think that is possible? Not interested in a 7/8 or full rack.

Hi, thanks for the comments on the 4runner build. yeah i also ordered through filthy motorsports and thought I also got the wrong front springs. Mine are 550, which is what Ben recommended, then I def had to dial in some preload to get the ride height correct. He strongly cautioned against using too heavy a spring up front if I hadn't dialed in much preload. he was right, and talked me out of ordering 650s which a lot of people apparently incorrectly do.
Because i'm using aluminum armor and front low pro bumper, I might be 30-40 lbs lighter than a steel setup, but maybe you can still get away with 550s and preload. what controls front dive is more about valving than spring. spring and preload is just for supporting the vehicle at the correct height. valviing will control how fast the oil moves through the shock.

I can do some measurements later today and post them here.

Thanks. I had intended to do just what you did. Same color and rig. I had a hard time finding it and found a TRD Pro at cost.

Thats a lot of preload you have dialed in. I've got like 6 threads showing. Im not sure how much that preload effects your shocks, but seems like you are happy.

Later today I will pull the rig in the garage and dial in the preload. I will also swap out the +440 rear springs. Its a stiff as can be ride when I hit a bump!!

Ive almost the same set up in term of skids, slimline bumper RCI sliders winch etc. and have since tinted the fronts......

Per Ben, you can easily dial preload 2/3rds into the total thread length
without I’ll effect. Showing 1-2” threads isn’t much when you see how long the threads actually are.. Interested to hear how it rides once you finish the work. When I got rid of the 440lb rears, it was perfect both in height and ride even when fully loaded up. I’ll measure fender height today -had house guests this weekend.
