momo.75's '03 Sport 4.7L V8 Build

Started off the morning by picking up my new wheels from 4Wheel Parts. I went with the Satin Black 17x8.5 Icon Rebounds.

For the shoes I knew I wanted to go with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I debated between 285/70 and 285/75. For several reasons i went with the 285/70. Will probably upsize later.

Perfect match!

Needless to say it looks completely different and drives like a new truck.

The sun was setting quick so these were the best shots i could grab today.

Looks awesome! Those are great looking wheels. I wish I had seen those when I was wheel shopping! Don’t get me wrong, I love the Fuels that I chose, but I’m a bit disappointed that my blingy Powerstop brakes barely show at all. Open spoke designs are WAY easier to clean as well!

Killer rig momo. Have you been happy with your CBI rear bumper and do you prefer the dual swing over the single? I've been looking at getting one for my rig for a while just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I appreciate that. I have really been pleased with it. I am glad I went with the dual swing outs over the single because if I had the single it would be too long to open in my garage. It would also stick really far out in parking lots. I am sure there are benefits of the single over the dual but i am not sure what they would be. It is just easier for me having the dual.

Are you still running 5100s/884s in the front and Toytec Superflexes in the rear in your most recent photos?

Any issues/downsides/thoughts about that setup? How is it on the highway on longer trips?

I appreciate that. I still have the 5100s and the 884s. In the rear I am running Icon Overland Springs because of the rear bumper and tire carrier. It really rides good on the highway and longer trips.
