More tire debate

So I just bought a set of BFG KM2's in 285/75R16. Now I'm not asking if I can fit these stock but I currently have 265/75r16. I have heard many times on this forum about people rubbing with 265's and I have never experienced any rubbing with these at all, even when fully tucked in (sway bars still connected). So I feel like when I upgrade to an OME 3" with a 1" body lift and Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers I should have no problem at all, correct? I have a 1999 SR5 with no lift, are the wells on the 99's larger or what is going on here?

Should have to modify the front pinch weld, remove rear mudflaps (or let it rub like me) and lower rear bump stops.

I rubbed just backing out in reverse with 285's and 3" lift. If you saying with they fit on stock truck the answer is yes. But it will rub.

285s ---> remove your wheel spacers !

Where's the love for 275/70/R16's? I've been running these on my stock 99 springs for the past 12 years with no rubbing issues.
