I just installed mine last night. I noticed the same impact that you have there as well. I wonder if it was there before but I did not notice it because the stock light output was not as strong.

Mine has this as well. I believe the right may have it but very very faint if at all. The left one is very obvious like yours.

Installed. What others have said. Feels about 20% brighter. It does wash out with LED public lighting. But much better on highway in the dark.

My H11 2.0's just came today. Simple 5 minute install and cant wait until dark to try them out. I was running modded H9 bulbs and they were slightly brighter than H11 but color match to my Xenon Depot 9005 high beams were terrible and im also running H11 led's in my fogs so now all should match up pretty close.

That doesn't look correct. Mine and a few others that I have seen in this thread do not have a hot spot. You should have a clear light pattern with nice cut off lines on the top end.

The only thing that I could think of is maybe the bulb is not turned all the way. When I was installing mine, I played around with the light pattern by turning the bulb in different directions. I found that the best/cleanest pattern was turned all the way until they stopped. The bulb created some funky light patterns when it wasn't turned all the way.

That is probably accurate. Unfortunately with the projector, you can't see into the light to check how the LED is sitting (9&3 vs 12&6). I know with the high beam replacement you need a 9&3 placement.

I ordered the Philips fog light bulbs and got them today, however they are 6500 not 6000. I also ordered the Morimoto 2stroke which is 5700. Are the fog lights going to be much more blue or just more white? We’re the ones others bought just 6000?

They look very very similar in color - which is a very bright white. I don't think you will notice any difference.

I hope you get good results. I just got my H11 2.0's delivered but also currently running modded H9 halogens. I hope they won't be a disappointment because everyone have been comparing them to stock H11 halogens. I won't be able to install mine until this weekend..

So my initial review. The 2stroke 2.0 are definately brighter than the modded H9's. Not holy s*!$ I have to have them but brighter whiter light. They have a defined cut off and it appears to have a wider more usable light pattern. This first run was on dark back country roads. We'll see when in town or on a rainy night. But so far happy with them.

I checked on the bulb tonight and it was turned all the way. So I played with it a little, looking at the light on the wall and turned it the opposite way just a little and noticed the light on the wall pull together much better. Maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch turn. So I'll see how it is in the morning.

I used nothing from the old bulb. It is truly a “disconnect the old and connect the new” type of system.

Just install them as they come. Mine were pretty snug getting turned the whole way.
