motor swap questions

Is there any difference from a 22re turbo long block than a 22re long block, if not, then I'll buy this turbo block to rebuild my 22re. I can buy a 22r short block also if that will work better. Any help would be awsome. Thanks Jeff

You may be able to find all this info here. Toyota Performance Parts | LCEPerformance.com They specialize in 22r engines. The turbo block has a turbo oil drain back fitting in the side of the block and lower compression pistons. The tech section on LC enginnering may have more answers.

A real RTE block is a beefier casting, has different cam, injectors, plus what 03_4x4 said.
