Mounting roof rails to 2nd gen - Method question

Hi, I want to mount some roof rails to my 91 4runner so I can bolt a basket/cage to it.

Do the 2nd gens have any spots in the roof for mouting bolts though?

Can anyone recommend roof rails off another type/brand of 4x4 that will fit on nicely?

Secondly should I be bolting these down or can I use some heavy duty stainless rivets?

Any advice on this would be great.

I found a used factory rack on Craigslist and mounted it using 1/4-20 Rivnuts and stainless hardware. I imagine the install for just the rails would be the same.

I found some old rails on VN commodore, Apparantly these are Rhino Roof racks. You can buy the track from most roof rack places.

I ended up mounting the tracks to the roof using sealed alumium 5mm rivites, (BIG!) and some polyeurothane (don't know how to spell it!) glue around them so they don't leak.

I also cut the rhino racks down as the 4 runner roof is very narrow. The racks are made from aluminium extrusion so I just cut them on the drop saw with an alu disc and then slid the mounts back in.
