I thought I'd start a thread for people to give their impressions of movies they've seen recently. Doesn't have to be in a theatre, if you Netflixed or rented it from Blockbuster then post up your review of it, the good, the bad and the ugly. :snacker:

I thought it was hilarious, if you've ever enjoyed reading the online awards, then you'll love this movie. Anyway, you can stream it instantly and its only an hour and a half, so check it out.

Anyone seen J.Edgar yet? the Immortals? Any good?

Me too, we actually just saw Horrible Bosses and I thought it was pretty funny. And anything with Jennifer Aniston is ok in my book!

I've just watched the "Real Steel" in the film with my friend, it's really great, if you're interested in the scifiaction movies, you can't miss this one.

I just watched "Another Earth"
IMDB: On the night of the discovery of a duplicate planet in the solar system, an ambitious young student and an accomplished composer cross paths in a tragic accident.

The girl wins a lottery to visit the new earth and they find out that the new earth has a replica of each of us here.

my wife and I are huge movie buffs. i can go for days, literally because i watch three or more movies a week. ill keep it under 10

Just watched cars 2 - very good

pirates of the carribbean / on stranger tides - weird. very different from the previous.

captain america - not enough action

the losers - BAD A**

green lantern - it was actually not that bad of movie. very scifi though

transformers - dark of the moon - transformers are always good. another hottie to watch and more giant robots destroying each other.

fast five - funny and action packed. its good because its not a import tuner movie anymore.

Thor: wasnt bad, but was not amazed either. him flying around witha giant square hammer was what ruined the movie.

I recently watched a BluRay cut of "The French Connection" (1971); I had never seen the original before.

All I can say is WOW :hatsoff:
