Maaan where did you buy the lc coils??? I've been looking on those online Toyota parts sites and can't find them! I already have the trd tundra coils but need those damn lc coils!

Thanks! i've actually never had red calipers before... i've done blue black and neon green but never red under a black wheel, and... I LOVE IT!!! oh and the braking power increase is well worth the cost alone... plus the whole "not having to worry about warping rotors" thing is a solid plus
well i found one set online, and then a friend happen to remember i was looking for some so he dropped them off at my house, but i don't need them, so i'm actually selling a set right now if you're interested send me a pm. I do have all 4 coils but if you want (since you're in florida) i can just sell the front coils (the ones we need) so you could keep shipping cost down. i'm looking for $80, plus shipping, for the fronts, 100 for the set.

It's really simple! When I do it I just pull all the wheels off (or two at a time), douse the wheels in brake clean and wipe everything clean. I usually just set the wheels on my tarp and spray away. Take your time with it tho and don't freak when your first coat doesn't show up really dark, you can always do more light coats, it's better than having to re do them because of drips and such. But it is really forgiving stuff. And I buy mine from home depot, it's like $6 a can, grab 4 or 5.

I have 2 sets of LX450 coils. So I'm just selling one set, so to answer, MY set of LX450 coils

Ahhh well that would make sense. Those LXs will definitely get rid of that sag and shouldn't have too much rake when you get that cargo box going.

So i have some progress to report. I am very proud to have finished my cargo/sub box (the 90% at least, still some finishing touches to be done but its at least usable now!).
Underneath, to see the sub location. Went with a 1.4 cubic ft ported downfire. (sorry for the blurry pic)

Behind the seats. With random extra space (we'll call it a hidey-hole).
One more, with the cover to show that i do still have space for other stuffs.
Future touch ups: need to buy hinges for the sleeping platform kickout, shave off a slight amount between and bottom of drawers, and possibly make flares to cover the gaps caused by the wheel-wells.

I haven't had time! It's killing me! Here's an idea. I give you my rig for a day and let you put my lift in and I'll drive yours to work and then help when I get back?

Maybe if you promise not to steal it......
I'm definitely overshooting here rather then low balling and I'm going to say 8 hours. Depending on how easy everything comes off and how many sets of hands you have it could be less. Also how much suspension work you've done. I'm sure if I had to redo my lift I could shave a couple hours off

Supercharger baby!!!
So about a week ago i found an ad on the good ol craigslist. 2002 4Runner part out with a 1st gen S/C. I booked a$$ and got on the phone. $500 for the unit, even if i have to rebuild thats a steal! I got to the shop and talked them down to $450 since i was pulling it myself. As i was pulling it out i noticed that there was another unit attached to the supercharger on the firewall. Dug around and i found that its a TRD Fuel Management Unit (FMU) that used to come with the superchargers, kinda a vacuum powered 7th injector (how i deciphered it at least).
Once i got her home! Little dirty, and the FMU in the back.
From the above pic you can see the old TRD vinyl was falling off, so i helped it the rest of the way, cleaned up the top of the S/C and PAINTED the logo on in the leftover caliper paint i had.
Once i got the tape off i cleaned 'er up better.
It took a very stressful and tired (it was after work and i worked the next morning) night, but I was too excited after staring at it for 4 days, it needed to go in!
