We'll be just north of Portland on the 30th and 31st. We're actually staying with family in Kalama WA.

Sorry I never got back to you. We would have love to been able to meet up, but Portland traffic was not working in our favor on Wednesday. I think it took us almost 2 hours to get from Portland to Kalama on Wednesday.
We'll be back in the area for a longer period pretty soon though.

I can imagine. We're talking about moving to the Portland area. House is going up for sale in April. We both have to work until June 2017, but we're going after that.

Stay on the Washington side. Property tax is less, no state income tax, and if you can be close enough to Oregon you can do most of your shopping in Oregon and save on sales tax as well.

We left Washington on Friday Morning, and made it to Ogden that night. We were through Idaho on Friday, but didn't have time stop. We had to get home today, and didn't have much time to waste.

The Washington coast.
This is so strange to me, I'm used to the gulf coast down here where it's packed with people or the east coast which has a different look to it as well.
Looks like a great trip, I'm in for more pictures if you've got them. What did you think of the part of the pacific highway that you drove? That's my bucket list road for some reason. I really want to drive it haha

It's nothing like any other coast, or Gulf. There were a some people on the beach in Washington, but not so much Oregon. Then again it was only about 45 outside, and windy.
We've driven 101 from just south of Redwood Valley CA up to Astoria OR. Highway 1 ends at Eureka CA, and is then Hwy 101 on up. I would love the drive Hwy 1 from Eureka CA south to Baja, and might some day. The drive was great though, and tons to see along the way. I think I'd drive it again, but take a lot more time doing so.

So I've been hording some parts for a couple months now. I'm going to be rebuilding the entire front end on my 01. New LCA's with new Whiteline bushings. New shaved UCA's with OEM bushings. Splindes with TC guessets, and new UBJ's. Let's not forget the LBJ's, inner/outter TRE's, rebuildt OEM calipers, and more.
