MT offset rear lower links

Yea, I have no idea what the internals of it are. But the dealer denied the warranty on the cats and said the dented muffler caused the cat to clog up. It seemed like BS to me.

I can't wait to get my Y pipe routed up higher. That drives me nuts. Even though the skid protects it, the clearance is minimal. One good smash on the skid and I start getting noise in reverse until I bang it back out a tad.

I've spaced my skid down twice to get rid of the horrid vibration after big hits. washers. I keep a little bag of them in my center console when I wheel because that is a lame little annoyance. Can't wait to move my y pipe up!

My skid hasn't taken any big hits but my y-pipe would bang around every once awhile while on a trail. Any way I was too lazy to pull the skid off on the trail so I rummaged through my spares box and came up with a hose clamp. Even with the clamp on there it still has a ton of play in the exhaust system so there is no binding of any sort even with it lifted slightly to clear the skid. A lot of European cars have chains built into the rubber exhaust hangers to keep the exhaust system from sagging which might also work for our application as well. This was a quick fix but has held up well so far and I can adjust it quickly if need be it just looks like some really bad engineering !

Quick update on this. I installed the MT offset lower links last night and they actually cleared the RCI link skids. BUT.... It is so close that is is probably not a good idea. There is literally .005 mm of clearance and a good bang on the skid and that will be gone.

I installed them this way, but decided it was a bad idea. So. I'm going to put the MT skids on tonight. The links can be pretty major PITA to install. The bolts have to align perfectly since there is so little clearance and the axle has a tendency to want to shift reward when they are disconnected. I ended up using my come along to pull the axle forward.....
