Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Philsey--I can't tell from your pic. The front guards are small and only cover the inner 2/3's of the fender well about 6 inches from the bottom of the body. You should be able to tell if you have an overlapping piece around the bottom of fender. It appears you have them on your pic but I can't say for sure. I can take a pic of the front and post for you as soon as the wife returns with the 4Runner, she found the keys again. I would assume if you have them on the rear they put them on the front. If you wanted to cover up the white lip in the wheel well up front you are out of luck with these, the front guards won't do that. For those looking for mud flaps, the search continues..............

You hit it on the head! I'd like to cover the white lip in the wheelwell, just like it's covered in the rears.

So, that answers my question, and thanks again!!

I just don't like the unfinished look of it, it looks like a part fell off. And especially because it's white, it stands out - and I certainly see the (white) painted part chipping in time.

Here is a pic of what some people are trying to describe.

I have a 4x4 SR5 so I would assume everyone with this trim style has this.

The question is... Are these pieces (indicated by the red arrow) what the part numbers that were listed earlier are for? If so, then they would be replacement parts, not additional parts.

Comments?

Yes, thats what we are talking about. No, not all models of SR5 came with them. Yes, they are the part #'s as discussed in this thread. (Which is why I have indicated on nearly every post I've made that these are NOT MUDFLAPS).

BTT. Any new news on REAL splash guards, mud flaps other than universal fit? Bought a set of mudskins from Putco and because of the way Toyota has engineered the finder liner splash guard inserts, there is NO way they will fit.

Also looking for the vent shades that go over the window to keep the rain out when you roll down the window and the afternoon sun in the winter.

have you tried using a heat gun to mold the mudflap. it will work. done it before...

Husky mud flaps/guards may be coming out for 5th gen

I didn't see this posted anywhere else on this forum yet so I hope this is the right place.

I spoke to Huskyliners customer service today to ask about their custom mud guards (i.e. in the photo on their web site these appear to be what many of us call mud flaps, which is what I'm after).

I asked whether they would have any for the 2010 4Runner. They responded that they are working on mud guards for the 2010 4Runner and expect to have them out in about a month from now, and to keep checking back on their website. When I asked about which trim models they were being designed for, they indicated that these should fit any model as long as the model has separate fender flares (I think all 3 T4R models have separate fender flares, no?). I assume this is so that the mud guards can be slipped between the flare and the body when installed?

I'm hoping these will fit my 4WD SR5 when they come out (muddy NE winters and springs).

Great news! As far as fitment, the TE already has some built in mud flaps, so I'd think that these would be developed for the X-runner body (V6 SR5 & Limited).

That's what I thought too, thanks Quentin. The woman in Huskyliners cutomer service wasn't able to get too specific, except about the separate fender, so I hope these do fit the SR5 V6.

Thanks! Just ordered mine. We'll see if they are actually fit the 2010.

Did you ever contact to seller and find out who the manufacturer was? If you don't already know, could you post this information or e-mail me separately when the product comes in? Thanks in Advance.
