Mudflaps and Ice.

I've got a '98 SR5 with mudflaps, and was wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent the flaps from filling up with blocks of nasty road slush ice. Those big blocks of ice get heavy and I ruined the rear mudflaps on my old Montero sport because the ice built up so much that it broke them off. I really don't want that to happen to my 4runner since I like it so much and I hear those flaps are a pain to find. I did a search and couldn't find any info on how to accomplish this. The flaps look like giant buckets on the inside which make them perfect for holding onto everything. Thanks in advance.

Sounds good. I'll definitely give the Silipam-40 cocktail a try. Joking aside, maybe I'll try a different spray on each one and see which one works best and update with my findings. 4runner science is the best science.

I'll give it a shot after they fully thaw this weekend.
