Mudguard help

We had requested mudguards on our '14 LE with running boards but they told us they were on back-order when we went to pick up our vehicle out of state. We are on our own to install them now but I've got some questions about conflicts with the running boards. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. I'm sure mudguards are child's play for most of you guys.

Go with OEM or is there something better?
Should we expect to drill holes?

This is not our vehicle but are the running boards.

I have the Husky Liner mud flaps, bought them on amazon. They don't require any drilling, they use pre-existing holes. You just pop out a couple of black clips that are already there and replace them with screws that come with the flaps. Not sure if they work with the 2014. Hope this helps.

I too had questions if OEM running boards and mud flaps would fit the way I wanted them to.

I got factory mud flaps and aftermarket running boards. Both fit excellently and are really high quality; especially the running board.
