Multiple problems, defrost button not working, rear seat not locking

A bunch of issues came up on my truck

1. Decided o bite the bullet on my leaking ac evaporator, and had it replaced, the ac compressor was also dropped , serviced and reinstalled, now i have observed the following issues

a. harsh squeel from belt on ac start up, noise noise goes away after 2 to 4 seconds.

b. the defog button on the hvac module does not light up anymore, and i dont have the windscreen defog option anymore - the button is highlighted in the pic below, i feel this may be a case of unplugging stuff and forgetting to plug it back during the dash tear down, would appreciate any suggestions

c. the air direction function doesnt work anymore, the option to blow from the vent on the floor lights up when depressed, but no change in air speed, ie the button to blow air on ones feet

d. the fan airspeed seemed to have reduced 30% to 50% as before i usualy leave the fan setting on the lowest setting, but now i gotta put it on the 2nd or 3rd higest fan setting


2: rear seats.
i removed the rear seats to give the rug a thorough cleaning. now one of the claw stands on the rear seat is closed in the locked position - thus the seat isnt seating firmly in its track, as 1 claw is open, and the other closed, need tips on how to correct this issue

If your battery was disconnected, you'll have to operate the rear window up and down a couple of times before the rear defroster and rear wiper functions are restored.

thanks, got the rear defroster working, with the battery reset, but the major issue still remains, the front defroster isnt working, and the airvents dont respond when the air direction button is engaged to change the airflow direction

update: harsh squeal on start up is almost gone. fiddled with the chair and found the claw opened., mine is a 3rd row model, so does not have anything to pull, just a red knob to depress,

so only the ac vent airflow problem is still pending, may have to go back to the repair place next wk..if am unable to figure it out, just wish to avoid thenm tearing into my dash again!!

update 17/04/1 everything resolved now, belt squeal on start up is gone, .just 2 old issues i have been battling with

1. thumping sound on potholes: changed swaybar bushings, didnt resolve it. noticed a tear in the rhs cv shaft, and grease ozzing out, wondering if it could be casuing the thunking.

2. vacuum leak sound when depressing the brake pedal: my brake mc assy is on its last legs again, the piston is leaking based on comments on the forum, looking for a cheap used unit to purchase
