Must read

Does this a sentence?

Am I doing what is the thing in minute.

If the intranet can be while doing so?

Take a picture of your hot girlfriend and then make it your avatar.

Then no one will question any dumb questions you may have, instead they will literally stumble over each other to help you.

I think I win as the most rude, conceited, obnoxious and arrogant poster of all time. I didn't make this up as those are words I have pulled from various pm's sent to me. I even have a "no fan" club whose only apparent mission in life is to wait until I post and then attack my words. I hear membership is free to this club and all you have to be is a liberal whiner with no technical knowledge and care more about form than function to join!

I just try to help but have no patience, either here or in real life, with stupidity or an entitlement mentality. Everything is not ever going to be equal until everyone is the same.

and for the record, 95% of the threads that get the snarky responses can be completely answered by the 1 single sticky thread entitled "master directory of informational threads --- a must read for new members". No pity if they don't even read the sticky's and then get their feelings hurt.

How am I supposed to find this "master directory", you didn't even give me a link to click.

:D

i would like to take this opportunity to mention members like ARK_SWAMP_RIDER in the 4th gen section who regardless how many
times the question has been answered will take the time to help fellow
members out with questions. Their are other members i can't think of
right now, plus im sure there are others in the other gens threads.
Its guys like this that make forums so helpful. So i would just like to say thank you to those guys. :trophy:

Compared to other forums, this is one is pretty clean. Everyone on here seems nice and are willing to help from what I have experienced. It's difficult to really understand by just reading text rather than hearing someone in person and understanding their intentions. But it is the internet… We all like to joke on here too. But there are some threads that just ask for sarcasm whether you like it or not. Or the case of the repetitive threads that have been covered before, time and time again. Just take it with a grain of salt. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I don't walk on eggshells I just get lambasted.

I screenshot my threads when they get answered, then delete them. I'm still a noob (newb?) so if you see me post something stupid, tell me and I'll delete it. Why don't more people delete them?

OK really?

You barely even sound like a conservative. I highly doubt the phantom liberals of T4R are bothering you that much. LoL.

This post might qualify..

:D

Ok, seriously, what is the point of deleting your posts?

The reason the search works for answering questions, is because there are threads archived which answer those questions. If everybody deleted their posts, the existence of the board would be pointless.

Okay, you have a good point. I definitely search before starting a new thread, but if my thread doesn't seem to contribute that much to the forum I've been deleting it. No longer

The problem is when I call it like I see it. Examples:
Someone posts they think Silver is the best color. Fine, no problem as this is entirely subjective and opinions on things like seat comfort or colors or anything that is not quantifiable is fine and a non starter. Sometimes I even post my own opinion lol.

Now, someone posts that wheel spacers are fine and do not cause any additional wear on bearings. On something like this example, I will usually spend some time and post a factual argument that shows wheel spacers do in fact cause accelerated wear and I usually post calculations or something to reinforce my point. Simple right? They stated some bro science or something they heard or found on the internet and I post hard fact with documentation to back it up. Well, apparently people don't like to be told they are wrong. Imagine that. So they post (or pm) about how they are a noob, or I shouldn't have been so tough on the guy because he probably got picked last in gym class in middle school or some crap like that.

Now, the above is just a made up example but I could list dozens of times that I used science, physics or engineering knowledge to correct a bro science post and several posts later has escalated into a "Quit kicking poor Timmy when he's down or he will cry because he is small and wears glasses" thread.

THIS is what I am trying to say! I see certain things in black and white. If it is wrong and I know for certain it's wrong I fix it. We have a lot of guys here that see many shades of grey apparently. If I make a mistake (and I have made 1000's of them) and I get called a dumbass I totally understand and keep on going. Some of these guys get called a dumbass and they instantly turn into a human rights defense lawyer helping the little man. Understand?
