Thanks but it's actually quite dirty underneath compared to some. I was bit off line there. I have been thoroughly enjoying the truck this year using it for what I built it.
Nice guy in the taco got a tough break when he hit a pot hole leaving camp in BFE in moab. Sent him into the ditch but he he wasn't hurt, made the best off it and all his Tacoma buddies were there to help.

Found this little road I'd never been on about 20 mins from the house.

Cool park like setting up on top. This is a panorama looking NE. You can see a nice clear flat area on the top in the aspens, Love it.

June14 and we started heading up into the high country. This was the end of the road, so time for some water and a hike.

June 26, Camping with [MENTION=78892]Fishwerks[/MENTION]

First we went up high for looking for some trout

Then we went down low

Not huge but fat for little guys...beautiful spot and fun as always

July 3, Camping in San Juans

Looking for fish at high elevation...There's fish in them hills

Well too early but we're still going down there after hiking up here.

The view from these high lakes is always so fantastic

July 10 I had joined the RTT club after scoring a tent in the recent GB..Started getting it mounted up on something to use it.

Later went to my buddies to work on the trailer a bit.

and learned another very important lesson in shop...watch what you grab

July 15 Met up with [MENTION=44220]BigFishAllDay[/MENTION] and his family to run the infamous Black Bear Trail. It just so happened that while we were airing down [MENTION=5345]habanero[/MENTION] rolled up. I didn't realize it was her another forum member until we were at the top.

odd thing here..Nick and I actually saw a blue 4runner here last year in the same spot with the same type of netting around it..guy must not like marmots

Then we all headed down for some pizza at Baked in Telluride. I think everyone enjoyed especially the little ones. Cool to have met up with another forum member just by chance, especially one from so far away. Good times nice to have spent the day with you all.

July 16 FJ summit weekend- just another weekend to me. Except that there were a lot more nicely built rigs in my stomping grounds. Fifty seven of which didn't wave back on the highway 3 of which did the whole weekend. I'd swear I could see them looking like they were about to wave and then nope they'd realize I wasn't fj material. Where's the Toyota comradery? I know everyone is different so I just laughed and kept trying.

I took the RTT out for the first time that weekend. Been planning a trip with some friends from Denver in a real nice 5th gen to camp and fish. Stand up dudes and had a blast. I kinda spread the word to share my spot and had a handful of guys show up. Note to self everyone is different. But, I think it should go w/o be said that you should never ever ever leave fresh oatmeal on top of a fresh nasty fire pit next to your friends new rtt. Oh no mr bear, i mean bears are a very large concern, no joking around here. If you build a new fire pit please dismantle it and be boy scout like about leaving the site looking pristine as it was.

That night we wanted to go fishing so we hit the hills until dark.

The next morning was a beautiful one sorry no pics,,,everyone split and my original buddies and I hit a spot called clear lake..weather was a little to threatening to had the rods out. We headed down to silverton from there. It started pouring rain sio I called home for a wx report. Blue skies, so we broke camp and headed for home...

Clear Lake is where we went via Imogene after leaving Baked. Been almost there twice due to snow.

Agree with you on leave cleaned up camping and definitely no food!

July 25Sight fishing rainbows-I think this lake sits at about 8500'. It has a nice short shelf the fish cruise on. You can stand back up on the hillside and see them coming. I was using a standard parachute adams dry fly.

Thanks, it is indeed. Although I only used it three times so far. There is a huge difference between flat and flat though. I mean I've always managed to get flat in a tent but not board flat. And she and the dog love it. Pics of that coming up.
