My 4 dollar window screen!

On my last camping trip I broke my in-channel visors while trying to install these in the dark.

Not sure EXACTLY how it happened, as I couldn't see, but I imagine that I didn't have the edge seated in the track properly when I rolled the window up. Must have hit at the top.

Still love these things though... Keeps my pup happy since she sleeps in there.

great idea
I was laying in my tent last weekend thinking of how to do this
thanks

Here's what I cut them like. The black on the outside is gorilla tape for a tighter fit. I'll probably spray paint them either black or coyote brown/tan I'm not sure yet. They're crude but work great!

Good on ya mate! Having little to know camping experience, I've been looking for the cheapest possible way to get into a little camping in my 'Runner, this is a pure stroke of genius!

Awesome Cross!

Thanks for taking the time to give the others an idea on the back window!

Hey guys, so I've been a member for some time now. Have not yet had the time to start a build thread however I wanted to share my 4 dollar window screen for camping.

Just did this yesterday. Thanks for the tip. This will work perfect for my beach trips.

I'll have to climb up on the roof and check my gutters for grill gaurds. Love it. Thank you. Home depot may be the route actually. Peace.

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

That is awesome!!! You could even stack these for more ventilation. I guess I'm going to Lowe's this week.

Works great

I tried one of the gutter guards like the op showed when I went camping this past weekend and it worked perfectly Thanks!!
