My 4runner has been with me for ever. I went through some personal stuff and the car never let me down but I let it go, repair wise that is.
I'm in California and need to have it pass smog and the check engine light wont go out. The code is 52 and I replaced the sencer, plus the harness and the shielded wire back to The ECU Reset the ECU but it comes back.
I replaced a lot of stuff that needed to be replaced to pass smog. it is the correct sencer because I had to replace the wrong one they gave me
Question: I know how to use a Meter so I think that being on for so long it has ben burned in like an old monitor picture. Is there a way to force clear the memory on the ECU I'm out of money for this project been doing this for 6 months and I'm about done.
Any ideas could save my baby. I'm making it up to her by fixing everything I ignored but I'm done. HELP!!!
