This was a real pain in the a$$ to do.

hope you had a friend to help you out with that steering rack bushing install...

i can imagine it can be a little tricky by yourself.

Damn this video would of been a life Saver for me. I searched for a long time before installing and your video is the best I've seen. Just a few days late.

The only thing I did different from Total Chaos directions was I took off the passenger side arm. Looks like you took off the drivers side. I didn't want binding, so that was the reason. I also had to clean the long bolt side because there was gunk build up inside. I mean thick gunk. The dremel cleaned it up nicely.

Your Energy Suspension System bushings went in nice. My bushings were a tight fit, even with the grease. Didn't go in with just my hands.

Here are the directions they gave me. The Torque are 80 ft lbs on the paper and you said 123 ft lbs for the middle/passenger nut/bolts 141 ft lbs. Looks like I have to tighten some bolts 1 more time. [emoji35]

It's probably a good thing your bushings were tight. Just means more stability.

Glad you got it done but at the end of the video we have the torque specs from the Toyota service manual with the torque specs again just to clarify if you missed it throughout the video

Yes it's done and all though I was doing it by myself with hand tools, I'm glad for people like you that make videos to make other people's lives easier. Much Mahaloz and Aloha for the 411.

I finally found a phone mount that is worth the money.

Put all my recovery gear and tools in my Medical Chest Case 472-MEDCHEST3. Also took out my 3rd row to get ready for my rear drawer system.

Did a wall of all the vendors on my rear storage cover

I also had a knocking sound from the rear of the truck and found my rear swaybar clamp was missing a bolt on my L side. Had to reform the clamp and put another bolt on. The 3 other bolts were semi loose as well.

Menu A MRE case?!?! Give me that beef brisket bruh! That thing is so good you could literally get like 6 of them and serve it on a plate at a dinner party. Brisket, a biscuit, tootsie rolls, AND chocolate chip cookies? Doesn't get any better. We had someone steal like 50 cases of MREs once during "Warrior Forge" and all they took were the Menu A cases. I don't blame them, but we were choking down the Menu B options for the next few weeks.

I see you put the Addco bar back on. I also put my front sway bar back on yesterday and I really like it. I never felt unsafe without it (probably due to the big ol' ICON c/o's up front) but it feels SO nice with it back on. I used the same Energy Suspension links I used for the rear, but I think they may be a touch too long for the front. On flat ground the bar is just above paralel with the ground. Going to try and figure out tomorrow how much shorter I need to get it.

I'm interested to see what you do for drawers. I think the aluminum would be SLICK, but probably cost exponentially more than a wood setup. With drawer slides, carpet, and all my wood I think I spent like $70 on mine.

I don't think I have ever had the experience of this "Menu A MRE" selection. Is that something relatively new? Like, after 2007 when I got out? I don't remember any beef brisket. Someone said that they made them better, but I was skeptical. LOL. Not a bad idea to roll with a few of those on hand though.

Menu A and Menu B have been around for awhile, but they do have a few different things in them since like 2008 I think?

Menu A is the gourmet stuff. Chicken with noodles, brisket, spicy penne pasta, beef roast, meatballs, beef stew... That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Menu B is the trash can. It has a couple goodies in it like the spaghetti and cheese tortellini, but it's nowhere near on par with Menu A.

I don't know that they made them better, but really I never had an issue with them other than the veggie omlette. For what it's worth, they did away with that a couple years back.

Nice build man. Ive got an old radio case sitting in my basement I want to use for storage. I worked at a recycling center when I first got out and there were 2 1/2 sitting in a dumpster. I found enough to make one case... Both ends open up and all seals are there. I had actually forgot about it til you posted pics of yours. Thanks for the reminder!

I actually got the A from a friend always nice to have it just in case of an emergency.

As for the swaybars, I took it off for a day and put it back on the next. Felt really unstable. Doesn't make it better if the driver takes turns @ 60mph.

Mahaloz man. I had an extra case in the shed I wasn't using. I have another matching set I use for my camping gear. I also have aluminum legs for 1 of these cases and it turns it into a table. Dual purpose.

Just modified this INJEN intake from a IS300 I got from a junkyard. A little scratched up, but it started right up. Not bad for $20. I spent $41 total for the SPECTRE, INJEN, & hoses.

I changed my 2nd row headrests from a LX450. My 16yr old son was complaining that the stock headrests were uncomfortable. It's wider and has more cushion.
