Yeah i got her back on the road Tuesday afternoon. I had to change tires around to clear the upper control arms. The ones i had on the back had an offset so they were perfect for the front. Then got it aligned so it drives nice. The Les Schwab off steilacoom blvd and S Tacoma Way did it for $62 all said and done.

Rear lift is going on today. Big thanks to [MENTION=126362]Tyota89[/MENTION] for swinging by yesterday to give me a hand getting it pulled from the parts truck. Ill have pics posted on Monday when I return to work.

The welder I have is a pos 110. I'm still learning but I angled the metal a bit and welded it on both sides to make sure it will hold hopefully. We will see tomorrow lol. Thanks for the advice though much appreciated. I'm hoping to get a better welder soon.

Your 4Runner looks sweet man. Love those massive beasts of tires. I bought myself some light tint as well. Did you use a spray or a vinyl wrap?

Thanks man. I haven't gotten to many compliments mostly people complaining about my color choice on my intake plenum and splash guard for my cold air intake. If you were askung about the tint on my lights I used a can of $1 gloss black spray paint from loews. If put it on slow and even you can get any desired level of tint from lightly smoked to straight black. I did the lights on my wifes volvo wagon and am going to do the tail lights on my wifes bmw this weekend.

oh yeah and i dont drive on those lol. Those are the weekend play tires. I have another set of 35's I need to get rims for so i can take off the 33's that belong to my buddy.

Short update. Not much has happened to the runner except takeing the chrome off around the lights. I started on tube doors then my old pos welder caught on fire litterally :jaw:. The wife has been in and out of the hospital over the last month and had surgery on tuesday so i haven't had time to swap my body lift. We are looking for a front axle to do the sas and possibly a motor swap this winter. Im stealing an idea that i got from someone elses build on here and that is the Cadillac 140amp alt swap. That is where we are as of now.

Little update
I committed to a set of axles today. I made the down payment to my brother in law on a set of dana 44's from his 78 blazer. Im also getting his chevy 63's and a pair of lift blocks. Gears are only 3.73 so that will have to be changed out, but it has a locker in it already :eyebrows: So now just to go buy front springs and hangers shock hoops shocks and high steer. SAS looks like it will happen this winter. Pic will be up once i get them home this weekend maybe.

My "new" wheels will be here saturday also. going to try and get the 33's off of them and mount my 35's this weekend also. Unrelated side note also ordering the part for my 82 turbo volvo too so ill have a "new" daily driver while im building the runner this winter. :jump:
