My expedition runner project

Hey everyone, So I've been off the grid for a while now. I started trying to fix all my broken photo bucket links and upload the pics to this site. I did a hand full of pictures but im pulling my hair out with my slow sat internet and the kinky photo bucket site.

The things I do you people :lmao:

I will try and get it all updated when I go home for the holidays and get normal internet.

My 4x4 has been broken since last Christmas when I decided it was smart to drive through a small flash flood and got sandy water in my 4x4 actuators. I have replaced the front one but I think I might be buying a used transfer case since I think that actuator is my problem now and its cheaper to just buy a used case then replace the actuator.

I have done a few things since I last updated everyone.

I bought a Gobi rack and had it for about 2 years then sold it. basically It was just too heavy and didn't get used much for the added weight and wind noise. I did keep the ladder for now.

I just replaced my hook lights with something cleaner( ill get pics soon)

oh i also replaced the power door lock motors on the front doors, still need to do the back doors.

Also I got some new BFG tires last year. stuck with the 235/85/16. Im a fan of the tall and skinny

:reddance:

Not much to update. Its been a few years since ive added anything. I killed my front diff ADD motor and my transfer case motor when I drove through a deep river and flooded them both. They rusted out by the time I noticed. Make sure your vent tubes are not dry and cracked!!!

I crossed over 250k miles last week but she mostly sits these days. We have a Prius for sticking to the roads and a 2012 tacoma all decked out so the poor 4runner is the backup car now.

Solar still works great and keeps the batteries charged always. My optima yellows lasted over 8years! I bought a group 31 AGM duramax from autozone last minute but im already regretting that one. When the solar isnt on the volts sit at 12.3 which is pretty low for a 2 year old battery thats always topped off. Only time will tell.
