My first plate bumper build

Well I got everything else in the mail finally to finish this thing up. I decided to install a blue sea power distribution block in the engine bay to keep all the wiring nice and tidy. So I made a plate for the battery to sit on so I could move it over and put the distribution block between the battery and fender. All the relays are underneath the block, out of site
I also got some custom laser etched switches from OTRATTW. By the way, those guys are great, their customer service is top notch! But here is how they will be laid out
The three on the bottom are for future lights and aren't going in right now. But the top two are for my bumper lights. They are DPDT, on-off-on switches with white LED backlights. I wanted the lights to be wired so that the down position would make the lights come on with my brights, mid position off, top position on.
And I wanted the bottom backlight in the switch to come on with dash lights so you could see what the switch was for at night, and the top backlight to come on anytime the actual light is on. It took a lot of cussing, head scratching, but I got em to do what I wanted. The night pics are crappy, they look way better in person. There is a little bit of bleed through light when the bottom is on that lights up the top part, but like I said, it looks better in person, cell phone didn't do a great job

Now that it was all wired up it was time to install the floods. I just had to take the bumper back off and throw em in. Then I put the weatherstrip on to cover the gap between the bumper and body. The bumper is 100% done now. I'll take some night shots sometime to show how bright these things are.

You have incredible artistic talent, from design to build. Wish I had taken up welding. Beautiful work.

I think most auto parts stores carry it, cause it's made for car doors. Thanks again for all the kind words!

Hey so I'm currently trying to make a wooden model of the bumper in builing but I'm having some trouble on dimentions for how the top is supost to be cut out. What are your spec if you don't mind me asking
