My ignorance astounds me

Ok, so I drove Yoda to work today and on the when I rolled into town I noticed I lost clutch pressure. Limp it to work and when I crawl under the dash I notice that a spring is just hanging down near my clutch pedal. Before I could see what the spring was attached to on the other end it came off there too. So, my question is, did my clutch go out or maybe something to do with the spring? With it not having any pressure it was like the clutch wasn't engaging.

That's what I was thinking too. I had one go out in a dodge I had once and it kinda feels the same way. The thing that was throwing me was the spring

LOL! Yeah that's in the plans. I just have to figure out where it went. I'll crawl in there this evening. Any one know what the spring is?

I'm pretty sure that you have one spring on each pedal for returning the pedal to the neutral position. Check which pedal doesn't have a spring and it should be obvious where the spring attached.

I think the spring attaches at where the clutch fork sticks out of the transmission to connect to the slave cyl.

Wrong side of the cab... this spring is inside the vehicle under the dash.
