so i went looking for a transmission for my truck because i blew mine up... couldnt find one anywhere so i started looking for a whole vehical to take one out of. i ended up finding this baby in someones back yard. ive never seen one in person so strait and pretty! "excluding the front bumper" i might end up putting this whole body on my frame!

so guess how much it cost me..... the guy wanted $800 for it... i talked him down to $500!!! freakin score right here!!! i will be having a parts truck soon so if anyone is close come take a look in a few weeks.

went and got it... got paper work for it. the guy put almost $4000 into the motor and tranny and then got it back and the cork oil pan gasket leaked so he just parked it. there is 7,000 miles on the new engine and transmission. i have a list of everything done to it... includes a brand new head, bored out block, full gasket set, new water pump, oil pump, new pistions, and i think the paper said it was bored out .30 over? somthing along those lines. cant wait to swap everything over.

i also found out that i am the 2nd owner of this truck!!! how exciting!!!

i know i know.... ive put so much work into my truck i couldnt just take mine apart and use the new one..... so im making my truck as good as i possibly can, take the new tranny and engine, body parts, grill, everything. i guess my original truck had to much centimental value to me to just part out.
