Has anybody ever seen an AUSA? They are made in Spain. I bought it new at a Ritchie Bros auction about 4 years ago for 4K. It has electric locking hubs and locking differential, tailgate and tipping bed. I made a cab out of aluminum and put windshield and back glass, nitrogen shocks on the rear, Yamaha rhino bull bar, Super Swamper tires and BLACK WHEELS before they were so damn cool! :flamewar: I use it mostly for yard work and hauling firewood out of the woods and playing in the snow!

To bad the laws in your state are not like Arizona. We can make ATVs and UTVs street legal. On my atv I had to add a rear view mirror, horn, license plate light, insurance and registration. On UTVs you need the above and a windsheild. It is nice being able to ride to trails without looking over your shoulder all the time to see if a cop is around.

We currently have 2 UTV's. One is an American Sportworks bought on Craigslist and its the biggest pile of poo I have ever driven and owned. I have spent more time replacing, repairing, fixing than I have using it. The other is a Kawasaki Mule 4x4 which is a beast though it has had better days, it has over 700 hours on it. The front axle was bent and was re-welded. Its now just hanging in there. Looking to replace the both of them. With that said I would love to hear your personal ownership thoughts and experiences with this AUSA you own; it sure looks impressive. Thanks!

The AUSA is made in Spain and was designed as a construction site vehicle....that being said its geared really low with a top speed of about 40-45mph. It is built tough but only has a 400cc Rotac engine.....I would love to put a bigger engine in it!! Maybe a bombardier DS 650?? It retailed for about 10 or 11K so I figured paying 4k at auction was a great deal.

I think it has to be a 4x4 type engine with an output shaft to run the front wheels.....I just figured a bigger rotax engine would be an easier fit. hence the ds 650. I did order a set of takeoff Kawasaki teryx shocks to mount in the front to give it lift and more travel. I am sure I will have to modify the mounts though. But other than power, this thing is an awesome utv for the price I paid for it. I totally agree with the statement Go big or go home! :banana:

Largest DS is a 450, but it's a sports quad (2x4)
