Mine is a budget operation too. I was able to scoop up the rack via craigslist thanks to a member here that pointed it out. I made my sliders, and have just now bought Bilsteins because I was waiting for a sale. It will all come together. Besides, what fun would it be if you just dropped it off at an off road shop, gave them $12k, and waited a couple weeks?

I own a set of the Maxsa boards, they work great.. No issues at all and they have been used many many times in all types of weather/terrain.

So you have one set? I wa thinking four would be ideal, have you found that two are effective enough? Reading they don't stack so well....two would work better for my roof rack. Thoughts?

I only have a pair, and they have been a huge help.. They have gotten me out of one spot, but have helped many others in snow, sand, mud many many times.

They do not stack so well, and you will find Tred mounts before you find maxsa mounts.

I like the Treds, but received the others as a Christmas present, and couldn't be happier.
