Alright,
As much as it pains me to do this I'm out of things to think of at this point. As the title says I'm still hunting down the chatter sound in my truck. It is random but if I hit a bump it will come and go and you can definitely hear it even in the cab at 60mph. There is no speed it comes on at or when you turn left to right. All the pulleys, belts, timing components are new to include the water pump and the fan bracket pulley. The only thing on the front of the engine that has not been changed out is the fan and the fan clutch.
This last Thursday I had it on a lift and took the front wheels off thinking that maybe the pin that hold the CV axle nut/ nuts had come off and it was rattleing around in there. Nope all is good and snug as a bug. It is defiantly in the front half of the truck and that is clear as day. I have to be at speed going down the road for it to come out also. I tried just rev. the engine and nothing ever came up. I wish I had an all wheel drive dyno to put it on and run it at 70 MPH so I can find this SOB.
I found a few things loos and fixed all that this last go around and still no luck. I thought it might be my transfer case low on fluid, Nope all good ( Although I did find out that I need a front and rear seal for it, I now have the OE seals in hand)
The only other thing that I have found loose is simple. The hood latch has a broken bolt on the left hole. I need to tap and dye that thing out. Any one what size I will need for that one? Any help at this point wold be welcomed.
PS- I have also checked for rocks in the skid plates. All good on that one too.
