Yep, Got rid of the Z4M Coupe for the Mercedes. Decided that the Benzo was too sedate for me and kicked myself for not hanging on the the Z4M. So now I'm trying the Japanese Z. A little less refined than its German cousin but still as fun to drive.
The FT 86 is sweet. Has the powerplant been finalized? Last I heard it was a 4 banger/170hp. Beautiful car though.

rumour is that will be the stock motor with a Turbo as the top motor and the name will change. Most likely to use the Celica name.

Supposedly it is coming as a Scion at $25k. To me, this means that it has to be turbo because who in their right mind would spend $25k for a 170hp sports car that doesn't even have a convertible roof? I'm disappointed it won't be a Toyota, but I think Toyota understands this car has to impress as far as performance, so it should be a good car regardless. I was really hoping they'd put a high strung naturally aspirated, 2.0L engine in it, but after reading about the new Subaru boxers, the long stroke, small bore design doesn't bode well for spinning to 8000RPM. Weight is very, very important, though. It needs to be around 2600~2800lbs to sway me from the NC Miata or S2000.
