@Johnny Utah: I believe so..its the CC7 shade, the back doors and the back windows were applied on top of the factory tint.

@TRDx4runner: Yes! but only for the first week..but then again thats what the back sensors are for!!

Couple people in town have there w/s tinted as well. I dont know how that hasn't been noticed by the cops but it does look clean. I like the way yours came out. You gonna tint the head and tail lights?

Plasti-Dip the chrome and rims and you will be all set.

I drive thru Irvine Ca (bored cops central just looking for revenue) fully tinted and have never had a issue. Just a crap shoot olice:

Looks good. No front plate as well. I haven't heard of many people getting stopped in Cali. My wife of all people got a ticket for tint. She was stopped twice in one week although only ticketed for the tint on one stop.

yea I wasnt feeling the look of it with the front plate on it..so I had it removed

Looks good though. VA almost passed a 35% tint law recently in on our state house, but we are still stuck at 50%.

Tinting the front windows just became legal in IL this year. Was completely illegal before. We can now do 35%


35% Front/35% Rear
- or -
50% Front/30% Rear

UNDER 30% ON ANY REAR WINDOW MAKES IT ILLEGAL TO TINT IN FRONT (unless vehicle is classified "MPV" and has privacy glass - 50% Front)

I know. Such BS too. 50% is worthless. I put 35% on my fronts, and that is worthless too. I wanted to do 5%, but, i got hassled a few times when i had my xterra with 5%. So annoying. My car is hotter and my left arm gets sunburned because the fronts arent' dark enough.
