New to the forum as you will see in my intro thread. I have a question regarding a button in my new to me 06 4Runner Sport.

What is this button for right beside the Dash light dimmer?

I thiught it was Fog lights, but thats on the lever. Symbol looks like a foglight symbol, but it doesnt turn anything on and off. It has an orange indicwtor light on it, but it doesnt do anything either. Is it an AUX light switch? Looks OEM to me

Looks aftermarket to me. I've never seen that. You bought the truck used I'm assuming?
Why don't you trace the wires and see what it goes it?

I have that exact same switch, it was purchased/installed aftermarket and wired to my Hella lights that are mounted on my grill guard.

Ok thats what i figured it was. An aux switch. I say it looks oem because it fits perfect in the rectangle. I have some Hellas this will work great for. And yes I bought used.

It does fit nicely and looks OEM. Someone did a good job finding that and making it fit lol.
