I to have been having issues with my budbuilts, they have deformed and changing the oil is a major PITA. The front bolts on my budbuilt have all snapped or bent and stripped because of the deforming and not lining up. I have had to drill out the nuts in the front cross member and put bigger bolts in with custom nuts to hold them, but I still need to get some leverage on the skid to get it even close to lining up.... I think some ridges down the upper side of the skid would really help support it

I went back through to where you repainted with gloss black but what paint did you use on your Addict bumper.

Yeah that's a cool one, me too! Colin's watermark is sometimes like a "where's Waldo" lol. Ive never tried his wheels, mainly because of the backspacing would require me to run spacers to get the width i have now. I got the 3.5"BS to get rid of my spacers. They are a great looking wheel though! The dark silver version only ever came on the "Baja Edition" Tacoma, he traded some black TRD FJ wheels for them straight up.
Mahalo Bruddah, i try my best to keep it clean on the trail. Its gathered a ton of scratches but i think most would buff out.
I actually had the front bumper powdercoated using "Cardinal Powdercoat BK52, Jet Black Hammered Tone" , its 30% gloss and just right for not being too glossy. I dont like the look of a matte black really so this is perfect.
Put a couple spot welds on the steering shaft to take out any steering play that was left over after the poly rack bushing install. Not real difficult but kinda scary looking in the process.

We went out for one last wheelin trip last Sunday, had a great time and got to wheel with a 80series LC. The thing had ARBs front and rear and was just a tank, not a ton of articulation and wide as hell but fun to watch. Ive toyed around with selling my 4R for an 80 LC but the width kinda put me off, i never realized how wide the body on them was.

Great shots Nate. The runner is really a well thought out rig that works great. Be safe over there and looking forward to the updates as they come.

I keep thinking I need to do this. I have new rack bushings, new rack guide, no play in the system but the wheel still feels like its got play on the rocks.

Great pics Nate, nice last run and the truck looks great..No surprise on the hankooks to me. I have the dynapros and I also have a set of their IPIKE snow tire on my tundra and it is awesome too.
I gotta try that steering wheel fix. I have a slight rattle in the rocks or washboard that I can't pinpoint visually.
I understand about the switch to an 80 as I now understand the desire for more flex. First I need to learn to use what I got though.

Thanks man. The more I look at his truck with this bumper the more I lean towards it. I just wish they would build me one for a 1" body lift. I used to not like LED light bars, because I don't know, they stood out too much on our trucks and reminded me of Knight Rider or something but they are growing on me. Doesn't seem like there a ton of options for this bumper being the cutout for the winch.

IIRC Nate has a 1/2" body lift on his 4runner and the bumper looks great. I seriously doubt another 1/2" will change the look at all. A 2" on the other hand won't look as good IMO:

I know man. To some it might not matter but I'm pretty particular. Now if you had a picture of a customers truck with an inch BL and that or some bumper installed, that might help.....

Once my AOR plate shows up and I get her painted, I will post pictures of her mounted up. I have a 1.5" body lift and plan on painting black under the body to help darken the gap. I hope it looks okay.
