Thanks

Those were NE of Estacada...I drove for a while so probably started to get near govt camp. Yea and I rarely see any modded out 4th gen runners here either, I can probably count on one hand with some fingers leftover.

Oh wow! That's one sweet looking 4runner! How's the plasti-dipped rims holding up? I'm just about to do that to mine, already did the emblems!

Thanks, you can kind of tell from the pics, but the plasti-dip on the rims is holding up great so far. Still think it's one of the best cost effective mods you can do.

So aside from the lift and the radio, everything else is DIY type mods??? That is one sexy 4runner man.... good job..

Thanks man, pretty much everything on my 4runner are DIY mods with cost in mind. I'm a young college student, so anything I do to my rig has price as the number one factor.

**And quick update, working on a custom roof rack right now. Will have some pics up soon I hope

The grill is made from "gutter guard" that you can buy from Home Depot.

And the black paint is from the now ever so popular plasti-dip, in a spray can.

Did you have to take the grill off for plast-dip or the gutter guard? and do you have any pictures from doing it? I want to do the exact same thing to mine.

To paint the grill its a lot easier to take the grill off, just a few bolts, you should see them if you pop the hood. I think there 10mm, once its off it will be easier to do the gutter guard mod too. Just cut to fit, I used zip ties. As for the bottom portion, just cut to fit, and zip tie behind the grill. No need to remove the bottom grill portion. If you got a sharp pair of snips, should be a pretty quick and cheap mod.

Just checked out your build thread.. I'm around the Tualatin area and thought I saw your truck the other day. Looks good! Are there any local guys that go on any trail runs? I've only had mine for a month and its already lifted. Its a blue limited. Maybe ill see ya around.

Are you the blue limited with gold (?) Wheels I saw yesterday!? If so I've seen your rig a few times but un-occupied until yesterday

Not quite sure what its capable of yet. I had a tire about a foot off the ground up exploring mt st helens. But I am used to a long armed cherokee's travel... lol I need to ditch these bags.. Is there a northwest forum? How does everyone meet up? I want to make some snow runs this winter. Sorry for the thread hi jack.
