Navigation: Kenwood vs. Pioneer?

That Kenwood looks more "user friendly" than the Pioneer. The video says it has the DNX6140. I know nothing about RDS. Heck, i don't even know what TRAF is and what each RDS, TRAF, and TYPE does. Here's a photo of my OEM. I'mma play with it sometime and see what each does.

Kenwood DNX5140
Kenwood CCD-2000 back-up camera
PAC "Tato" JBL integration adapter

Things in question:

PAC SWI-JACK (Steering wheel controls)
iPod adapter

Do I need both of these if I wish to retain the steering wheel controls and have the ability to hook up my iPhone?

Last but not least, is the trim kit. Scosche and Metra are talked about, but I have rarely seen applications where they actually fit, especially in the JBL models. Are there any trim kits that will fit? Am I better off getting this from Cruthfield?

Sweet, that's exactly what I was looking for. How is the fitment since it's technically for a Corolla? Do you have JBL?
