Need a lil help with shocks

So today after I hit a mudhole I tore a front shock bushing I will post pics tomorrow. Can I just buy the bushing Im lifting the runner next month and I don't wanna buy a shock when im replacing it with some thing better in a month. Thank you in advance for the advice.

do you really have to replace it? is it tore up that bad? can u live with it for a month? i guess pic will help to see how bad it really is...

Its bad moves the whole strut you can hear it in the cab. I prop could live with it for a month if i was not taking a road trip to Pennsylvania on the 12th.
